“sky museum” è un progetto nato dalla collaborazione tra Arte Sella e il Comune di Borgo Valsugana, con l’obiettivo di portare l’arte contemporanea nel cuore del centro urbano e renderla parte integrante della vita quotidiana. Per la prima volta, Arte Sella ha scelto di uscire dal proprio contesto naturale, dando vita a installazioni che si integrano armoniosamente con il tessuto urbano, in dialogo con il caratteristico paesaggio fluviale di Borgo Valsugana. 

“elementi” si propone di intrecciare la fotografia contemporanea e il contesto urbano, trasformando l’asse del fiume Brenta in una mostra a cielo aperto. Il filo conduttore del progetto è la dualità, intesa come relazione e tensione tra opposti: tra la memoria storica e il tempo presente, tra l’elemento naturale e lo spazio costruito, tra la staticità dell’architettura e il movimento dell’acqua. Ed è proprio il fiume ad accompagnare l’osservatore lungo il percorso espositivo, diventando simbolo di continuità e connessione, oltre che elemento identitario del paesaggistico.

L’allestimento prevede una struttura fissa in metallo sulla quale vengono installate le fotografie con la possibilità di sostituirle, offrendo così nuove prospettive e narrazioni visive. Ogni anno, infatti, saranno esposte le opere di un autore diverso, per un totale di tre artisti nell’arco di tre anni.

EN / “sky museum” is a project born from the collaboration between Arte Sella and the Municipality of Borgo Valsugana, aiming to bring contemporary art into the heart of the urban center and make it an integral part of everyday life. For the first time, Arte Sella has chosen to step outside its natural context, creating installations that harmoniously integrate with the urban fabric, in dialogue with the characteristic riverside landscape of Borgo Valsugana.

“elements” aims to weave together contemporary photography and the urban context, transforming the axis of the Brenta River into an open-air exhibition. The guiding principle of the project is duality, understood as the relationship and tension between opposites: between historical memory and the present moment, between the natural element and the built space, between the stillness of architecture and the movement of water. It is precisely the river that accompanies the viewer along the exhibition path, becoming a symbol of continuity and connection, as well as an identifying feature of the landscape.

The installation features a fixed metal structure on which the photographs are displayed, with the possibility of replacing them, thus offering new perspectives and visual narratives. Each year, works by a different artist will be exhibited, for a total of three artists over three years.
