Un portacandele che trasferisce negli spazi del quotidiano la presenza naturale, il contatto materico autentico in opposizione a ciò che di fintamente vero ci circonda.

Massiccio e in legno ha un aspetto antropomorfo per non essere rimandato ad una forma organica. In diverse essenza e dimensioni, ma con proporzioni uguali, Burly ha come costante il ribassamento in ottone che ospita il portacandele. 

Quando la candela è accesa la luce tremula della fiamma sulla superficie del legno si allarga e si chiude facendo scoprire gli anelli di accrescimento della pianta come disegnati dalla luce e fermi nel tempo.

Massive and wooden, it has an anthropomorphic appearance to avoid being associated with an organic shape. Available in different types of wood and sizes but with the same proportions, Burly features a consistent brass recess that holds the candle holder. 

When the candle is lit, the flickering flame’s light on the wooden surface expands and contracts, revealing the tree’s growth rings as if drawn by the light and frozen in time.
