Il progetto nasce dall’osservazione dell’oggetto nella sua funzione originaria per poi scoprirne le possibili trasformazioni. È caratterizzato da un cono forato, simile a un imbuto rovesciato, che favorisce l’effetto camino convogliando l’aria verso la griglia che sostiene la legna migliorandone la combustione. Grazie a questo sistema la fiamma rimane viva, senza produrre fumo. Il braciere è sostenuto da un treppiede che permette il posizionamento anche su terreni irregolari. 

L’oggetto, nella sua funzione, evoca riflessioni antropoligico-sociali che attraversano culture ed epoche: la capacità del controllare il fuoco ha permesso lo sviluppo della società e l’evoluzione tecnica dell’uomo. 

Ancora oggi siamo inconsciamente affascianti dal fuoco e istintivamente ci raduniamo attorno ad esso seguendo la forma del cerchio che favorisce la socialità, per godere del calore e ammirare la libertà della fiamma.

EN / The project originates from observing the object in its original function and then discovering its possible transformations. It is characterized by a perforated cone, similar to an inverted funnel, which enhances the chimney effect by directing air towards the grid that supports the wood, improving combustion. Thanks to this system, the flame remains alive without producing smoke. The brazier is supported by a tripod that allows it to be positioned even on uneven ground.

In its function, the object evokes anthropological and social reflections that span cultures and epochs: the ability to control fire has enabled the development of society and the technical evolution of humankind.

Even today, we are unconsciously fascinated by fire and instinctively gather around it in a circle, which promotes social interaction, to enjoy the warmth and admire the freedom of the flame.
